London: The effects of a blizzard are likely to appear in Britain from today, as a result of which the Met Office has issued a red alert for 5 days.

According to the British Met Office, winds are expected to blow at a speed of 90 miles per hour (145 kilometers per hour) in the coastal areas of the Irish Sea, while a yellow weather warning has also been issued from Thursday.
In which winds will blow at a speed of 60-70 miles per hour (97-113 kilometers per hour). During this time, heavy rains and snowfall in mountainous areas may also occur in the eastern parts of Britain.
The Met Office has said that 76 cities in the UK are at risk of power outages and mobile phone signals being disrupted, which could lead to service disruption.
