PAKPATTAN: The funeral prayers of Pakistan Army Sepoy Abdul Ghaffar, who was martyred while defending the homeland in the Siachen Glacier, were offered in his native village of Belganj.
The martyr belonged to Belganj, a suburb of Pakpattan, where locals paid tribute to the martyr’s sacrifice.
Shaheed Abdul Ghaffar sacrificed his life while protecting the homeland from enemy actions during his duty in the Siachen Glacier.
His martyrdom made not only his family but also the people of the entire area proud. During the funeral prayers, the soldiers of the Pakistan Army saluted the martyr with full military honors.
The family of the martyr said that their son sacrificed his life in the defense of the homeland, of which they are immensely proud. The burial of Shaheed Abdul Ghaffar was also held with military honors.
A large number of people from the area and military officers attended the funeral prayers and prayed for the martyr’s high rank.
