LAHORE: In the context of PTI’s protest in Lahore, PTI leaders and workers including Imran Khan were booked for sedition and terrorism in Lahore.
A case was registered against Chairman PTI, leaders and 200 workers under the serious provisions of sedition against the state, terrorism and attempted murder in Islampura police station.
Hammad Azhar, Salman Akram Raja, Ghulam Mohiuddin, MPA Shehbaz, Musrat Jamshed Cheema, Sheikh Imtiaz, Ali Imtiaz, Shabbir Gujjar and other leaders were named in the case.
According to the text of the FIR, Chairman PTI enjoys exceptional facilities in the jail. vandalized, workers injured constable Bilal, police detained 16 agitating workers from the spot, further legal action is underway against the agitating workers.
Apart from this, cases were registered against Tehreek-e-Insaf workers for protesting in violation of Section 144 in the city.
Cases were also registered against Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers in Millat Park and Hanjarwal police stations.
On the complaint of ASI Aqeel, a case was registered against 20 workers in Hanjarwal police station. The Hanjarwal police had arrested the workers for going out for protest yesterday.
A case was registered in Millat Park police station in the complaint of sub-inspector Hafiz Imran. A case was registered against 10 workers for violation of Section 144.
On the other hand, Taxila police also registered a case against 300 people including PTI founder under terrorism provisions and other strict provisions. Other leaders named in the case are Raja Basharat, Taimur Masood, Ajmal Saber Raja, Ziyad Khaliq Kayani, Shehryar Riaz, Raja Rashid Hafeez, Ejaz Khan Jazzi, Nasir Mahfouz, Advocate Aqeel, Chaudhry Ameer Afzal, Raja Shahbaz, Usman Tiger. Taxila police also arrested 105 protesters.
It should be noted that due to the protest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Lahore yesterday, Minar Pakistan and its surrounding roads were completely closed by installing cantoners.
