Rawalpindi: Security has been tightened around Adiala Jail and additional checkpoints have been set up by installing containers.
Police say that a search operation is being conducted around Adiala Jail and no one can go to the jail until the operation is completed.
In view of the search operation, the police have put security on high alert around Adiala Jail and have installed additional checkpoints by installing containers on the routes leading to Adiala.
During the operation, vehicles passing through the road are being allowed to pass after a body search. In this context, the police also stopped the car of PTI founder’s sister Aleema Khan 2 kilometers away from the jail. On this occasion, Aleema Khan also showed the police the court orders to meet the PTI founder.
It should be noted that today is a family meeting day in Adiala Jail. In this regard, Qasim Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi have left for jail to meet PTI founder Imran Khan.
