Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar has said that today every mobile phone owner becomes a Vlogger and YouTuber, rules and regulations are necessary.
Talking to the media yesterday, he explained about the restrictions on social media in Pakistan. He said that whenever there is a move related to the rules of social media, it is said that the freedom of expression has started to be restricted.
Atta Tarar said that rules and regulations are necessary for social media. For this some body will have to be created to bring them under editorial control.
He added that whoever has a mobile becomes a Vlogger and YouTuber.
It should be noted that for the past few weeks, the Internet including social media websites is also suffering from slowness across the country. Online platforms Facebook and WhatsApp have been severely affected with problems accessing messages, WhatsApp notes and downloading images.
Some users are worried that internet speed is slow due to firewall.
