Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has said that the responsibility for peace in KP lies with Ali Amin Gandapur and his jailed leader.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari said that MWM has been protesting throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has been in power for 12 years, they should bring peace. I fold my hands and say, Nasir Abbas Sahib, the responsibility for security in KP does not lie with Maryam Nawaz or Shahbaz Sharif. The responsibility for peace in KP lies with Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and his jailed leader. Nasir Abbas should go to jail to meet the founder and ask him to bring peace in KP.
Uzma Bukhari said that the military court said, “Don’t punish our people, now they say, ‘They are our people, why punish them?’ First, decide whether your people were involved in May 9 or not.” Were those whose videos came out jinn or angels? Those whose videos are there should be punished.
The Punjab Information Minister said that 2024 proved to be good for the people of Punjab. The stock exchange increased by 1400 points. Maryam Nawaz’s year of running government affairs in Punjab is about to complete. The performance of 10 months was excellent. Everyone has positions and resources. The security situation in KP is not getting better. She served the province like a daughter, sister and mother. Punjabis do not like the politics of sedition, protests and the politics of worsening the situation.
He said that there were Ramadan packages and Ramadan bazaars in Punjab. The program is also being prepared for the next Ramadan. The price of bread has decreased, a 20 kg bag of flour has decreased by Rs 12. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz reduced electricity bills from Rs 54 billion to Rs 14 per unit. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz started free medicines and air ambulances in field hospitals. Political orphans talked about air ambulances during their tenure, but none were brought. Students were given one lakh electric bikes and 50 thousand students were given scholarships.
Uzma Bukhari said that the nutrition program was started from South Punjab and the shrimp project was started. Initially, announcements were made but no work could be done. In Punjab, barren land will be provided to the youth for fishing. The provincial government is building a Roshan Gharana program, a model fish market and a state-of-the-art vegetable market near Kala Shah Kaku. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Dhi Rani program. Under the Dhi Rani program, dowry and salami will be given to girls. Technical programs for transgenders will be started soon. Heart surgeries of small children have started. Heart surgeries of 500 children have been completed.
