Lahore: A notice has been issued against Punjab Home Secretary Noorul Amin Mengal on the request of ex-wife rape case.
Justice Farooq Haider of the Lahore High Court heard the request to file a case against Punjab Home Secretary Noorul Amin Mengal for sexual assault by his ex-wife Ambreen Sardar. The court issued a notice to the SHO South Cantonment and Home Secretary Punjab Nurul Amin Mengal and ordered the Home Secretary Punjab to appear on September 5.
The petitioner’s lawyer took the position that Anbrin Sardar applied to register a case of rape against her ex-husband Nurul Amin Mengal. Rape is defined as having sex with an ex-husband in secret after divorcing him. The police did not register a case on Ambrin Sardar’s request. Lahore High Court annulled the order of the Justice of Peace and ordered to register a case of sexual assault against the Home Secretary.
