Lahore: Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi has said that the renovation of the stadiums is a big challenge and the renovation of the three stadiums will be completed before the Champions Trophy.
Talking to the media at Gaddafi Stadium, Chairman PCB said that the international firm BDB qualified for this contract, construction work is going on day and night.
Mohsin Naqvi said that unlike the stadiums of the world, the stadiums of Pakistan are substandard, our stadiums are far behind compared to the world.
He said that PCB thought of holding matches without spectators, but the security agencies also asked to stop the construction work. A new stadium will be built in Islamabad, talks are going on with the KP government for the arrangements for the Peshawar stadium.
Chairman PCB said that he is in touch with the ICC regarding the renovation of the stadiums, the renovation work will be completed before the arrival of the ICC delegation for the Champions Trophy.
