Pakistan’s basmati rice plays an important role in Pakistan’s economic development and global partnership due to its high quality in the global market.
During the fiscal year 2024, Pakistan exported more than 6 million tons of different varieties of rice due to favorable climatic conditions and abundant availability of agricultural resources.
This milestone is a significant achievement of the agricultural sector of Pakistan which is expected to create more opportunities for Pakistan in the international markets and further progress in the country’s agricultural production.
