Abu Dhabi: The grand IIFA Awards 2024 ceremony held in Abu Dhabi was attended by some of the biggest personalities of the Indian film industry.
Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” won the best film award and bagged six major awards at the event, while Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji won best actor and actress for “Joawan” and “Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway” respectively. Received honors.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra won the best director award for “12th Fail” in the direction.
In a special awards ceremony, Hema Malani was honored with the Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema Award for her outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. While Alia Agnihotri got the award of the best new actress of the year.
The event saw memorable performances by film stars, including Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon who performed brilliantly.
