The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has clarified that a large number of protesters have managed to reach Islamabad and now the protest will continue until the founding chairman of the party, Imran Khan, issues instructions to recall the workers. will remain

Many people have expressed their surprise over the decision by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur to leave the party workers in Islamabad and move to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House.

PTI’s political committee criticized the disappearance of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, warning that there would be “serious consequences” if Gandapur was arrested.

However, the political committee decided that Azam Swati would lead the protest in case of the arrest of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and in case of his arrest, a new name would be announced to lead the protest workers.

Former National Assembly Speaker and senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser told Dawn that PTI’s political committee has decided to continue the protest until Imran Khan gives clear instructions to end the protest. Found

He warned that arresting the chief minister of a province would be disastrous for the country and would have dire consequences.

In response to a question, the former speaker of the National Assembly said that the government is trying to arrest the legislators belonging to PTI while thousands of PTI workers have been arrested across the country.

Criticizing the attitude of the law enforcement agencies towards the woman PTI MNA, he said, “Though the government is trying to abduct MNAs and their family members, we hope that they will Will stick to his position.

On the other hand, nothing was known about Ali Amin Gandapur who reached Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House. This was the third time that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could not reach the destination of PTI’s march.

After entering Islamabad on Saturday too, the Chief Minister left the workers alone and went to his KP House and then disappeared from there. Rumors of his arrest were rife during this time, but government sources denied these reports. is

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had earlier claimed that no one will be allowed to enter Islamabad and all arrangements have been made to deal with the protesters with an iron hand.

Earlier on Friday, a large number of PTI workers led by Amir Mughal reached D Chowk and also cut Imran Khan’s birthday cake there at midnight.

KP government spokesperson Barrister Muhammad Saif also claimed that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has been ‘arrested’, later in his post on X he said that the Chief Minister was not arrested but heavy Rangers and police presence. Nafri Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House is located in Islamabad.

He said that Ali Amin Gandapur is on bail till October 25. If he is arrested, it will be an insult to the mandate of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The fake government will have to respond to such unconstitutional and illegal actions.

Apart from this, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Umar Ayub Khan had claimed that Ali Amin Gandapur has been arrested from KP House.

Speaking to the media, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan said that it was a one-day protest, but due to the crackdown on the protest, PTI has decided to continue its protest.
