ISLAMABAD: In the missing PTI worker case, the Islamabad High Court has remarked that it is better to change the constitution and remove the fundamental rights from it.
In the Islamabad High Court, a hearing was held in front of Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb on the request for the recovery of missing PTI activist Faizan. Additional Attorney General Manoor Iqbal Dugal appeared before the court.
Justice Aurangzeb expressed his anger in the dialogue with the Additional Attorney General and said that change the constitution, remove the fundamental rights from it, abolish our jurisdiction and run the country in the same way, I don’t know what the state will get from it. If you want to arrest him, we will not say anything, but don’t run the country like this.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said that the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Home Affairs are all happy with this, I don’t understand what they want to gain from what is happening, the bench in which the case was earlier has written that it is forced disappearance. It is a cruel act, what should the constitutional courts do in this situation? The world is watching what the Pakistani courts (missing persons) are doing in these cases, or else the world will invest here and people will be missing and the courts will not be able to do anything.
Justice Aurangzeb said that the federal government means the prime minister and the federal cabinet and the responsibility ultimately falls on the executive head.
The public prosecutor said that the petitioners did not knock the door of the court with clean hands.
The court said that he did not file the application with clean hands, so dismiss the application? You want me to become a serving judge? These are dirty applicants, we reject the application, I don’t understand where you are taking us, Additional Attorney General sir, tell me what should I do? If the government calls it a case of enforced disappearance, see who it was at the behest of, the government needs to sit down with the abductors on this issue.
The Additional Attorney General said that we do not know who the kidnappers are.
Justice Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said that one of our fellow judges gave a strict order, then the government propaganda machines started propaganda against him, I will pass the order in this case.
Hearing on the application for the recovery of two missing brothers of Azhar Mashwani
Similarly, a hearing was held on the petition for recovery of PTI leader Azhar Mashwani’s two missing brothers. Justice Aurangzeb said that do not make this matter ego.
The Islamabad High Court gave time till Tuesday to recover and present the brothers of Azhar Mashwani, the judge said that when the police want to find out, they find out who has the person, the responsibility lies with the Interior Secretary and Defense secretary comes, I am giving time till Tuesday to finish these cases, if these cases are not finished I will lose my mind then don’t bother me.
