Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has said that PTI will never forget the tragedy of September 10. September 10 will be considered as the dark day of Pakistan’s democracy.
Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar while talking to the media after his release said that I came out of the car in Parliament and made the arrest. Our people were arrested by masked men and we consider the arrest of people as an attack on the parliament.
He said that I was arrested and kept in the police station and later I was told that your arrest was not required.
Barrister Gauhar said that despite the rigging of the elections, we remained in the parliament and we wanted the real representation of the people in the parliament.
Regarding the Lahore meeting, he said that our meetings will be in accordance with the constitution and the law and there has been no change in the schedule of our meetings.
He said that every citizen of Pakistan condemns the attack on the Parliament. The House has been insulted and the Speaker must take action.
Chairman PTI said that the physical remand of the arrested leaders of PTI will be challenged in the court.
