ISLAMABAD: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad has ordered action for violation of NOC issued by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the rally while clashes and stone pelting between police and protesters. Several police personnel including SSP Safe City were injured.
DC Islamabad has issued instructions to the administration and police officers to take action on violation of NOC in the notification issued on violation of NOC.
On the other hand, the spokesman of Islamabad Police said that the participants who came by violating the route pelted stones on the police, due to which SSP Safe City and several police personnel were injured, while the protesters continued to throw stones at the police. is
Earlier, the spokesperson of Islamabad Police said that the routes have been set by the district administration to participate in the meeting, except for the specified routes, traveling on foot, motorcycles or vehicles to the meeting place is prohibited and is not allowed by law. Strict legal action will be taken against the violation of the designated routes and the violators will be arrested immediately.
The police said that a peaceful assembly law has been enacted in Islamabad, which is also in force, strict action will be taken against those who violate the law.
Notice of Federal Interior Minister
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi took immediate notice of the unprovoked stone pelting by the rally participants on the Islamabad Police and sought a report from the IG Islamabad Police.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi contacted the injured SSP Shoaib Khan by telephone to inquire about his well-being and directed the administration to provide the best medical facilities to the injured policemen.
