In view of PTI’s November 24 protest, the leave of federal police personnel and officers has been canceled.
The personnel who went on leave have been recalled, lists of personnel have also been compiled for all SHOs. According to sources in the Ministry of Interior, personnel from FC and other provinces will also reach Islamabad on November 21.
It should be noted that in view of PTI’s November 24 protest, the federal government has started preparations to deploy Rangers and additional FC in Islamabad to better handle the law and order situation.
Islamabad Police has called for the services of 9,000 Rangers and FC personnel. Islamabad Police has requested the deployment of 5,000 additional personnel of Pak Rangers and 4,000 additional personnel of Frontier Constabulary. IG Islamabad Police has written a letter recommending the deployment of Rangers and additional FC.
