Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi High Court bench has restrained the administration from obstructing PTI’s participation in the rally in Islamabad.
The petition was heard by High Court Rawalpindi Bench Judge Justice Sajid Mehmood Sethi.
The court restrained the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi and CPO Rawalpindi from obstructing the procession routes.
The court ordered that the workers and leaders participating in the rally should not be arrested or harassed, but peaceful assembly is the fundamental constitutional right of every political party, workers should also participate peacefully.
The petition was filed by Insaf Lawyers Wing Rawalpindi, the court decision was sent to DC and CPO.
It should be noted that Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rally is on September 8 in Islamabad.
