Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) explained the reason for not starting the civil disobedience movement from today.
PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai said in a statement that the civil disobedience movement would have started at all if the negotiation committee had not been formed. The party leadership requested the founder PTI to be given a chance before taking such a big decision. Unfortunately, the government’s attitude is very childish.
Shaukat Yousafzai added that the government probably understands that the PTI has weakened, which is why there is talk of negotiations. We want the country not to get into further trouble, but the government’s attitude has disappointed us. The date of civil disobedience has not been finalized due to the negotiations. If negotiations do not take place, perhaps the founder PTI will announce a course of action. If the course of action harms the country, the responsibility will fall on the government. The government has little time left to talk about serious negotiations.
The PTI leader said that the news broadcast on private TV has been distorted. I did not make any statement about the decision not to start the civil disobedience movement. I had said that if the negotiation committee had not been formed, the civil disobedience movement would have started today.
According to Shaukat Yousafzai, he had also said that if the negotiations did not take place, Imran Khan would announce the future course of action. Imran Khan will announce the civil disobedience or whatever movement will take place and he will also give its nature.
