Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar has said that it has been a full year today, despite holding intra-party elections, PTI has not been issued a certificate, the Election Commission has failed to fulfill its constitutional responsibility.
Talking to the media outside the Election Commission in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said that the Election Commission has also withheld a decision regarding reserved seats.
Barrister Gohar said that the Election Commission seems to have failed to fulfill its constitutional responsibility, it is our right to get reserved seats.
He further said that the parties that held intra-party elections after us received certificates, but we have not been issued certificates yet, the Supreme Court has ruled in our favor on reserved seats.
It should be noted that on February 10, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar admitted that contact with the establishment had ended and said that there was only one contact, a political solution should have been found through slow and wise decisions.
While talking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar said that the founder of PTI was very happy about the Swabi rally. He said that for the first time after the February 8 elections, so many people have come out, we will never forget our mandate.
Barrister Gohar had said that the Swabi rally was the biggest rally in history. Votes and mandates are the basis of democracy.
A journalist asked about the letter sent by Imran Khan to the Army Chief, to which he replied that there was only one contact with the establishment, after that there was no contact.
