The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the country’s biggest sports festival, Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, with the HBLPSL set to start on April 11.
The opening match of the HBLPSL will be played between defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Stadium on April 11.
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches including the opening match, while Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches including the final on May 18.
Karachi and Multan will host 5 matches each, while an exhibition match will be held in Peshawar on April 8.
Salman Naseer, Chief Executive Officer of HBLPSL, said that over the past decade, HBLPSL has become a globally recognized tournament and is happy to host an exhibition match in Peshawar before the start of the tournament.
It may be recalled that the draft ceremony of YSL 10 was held on January 13 last month at the Hazuri Bagh of the Royal Fort in Lahore.
The drafting of Pakistan Super League 10 began with the largest category of the event, ‘Platinum’, in which Lahore Qalandars had the legal right to select the first player and Karachi Kings had the right to select the second player.
