Islamabad: Prime Ministers of two countries including Russia and China will visit Pakistan next week.
According to diplomatic sources, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin, is expected to arrive in Islamabad on October 14 to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Heads of State meeting.
A delegation along with the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mashhouston will also arrive in Pakistan while a large number of Russian journalists will also come.
During the visit to Pakistan, the Russian Prime Minister will also meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishouston will also meet with other senior Pakistani leaders. A dinner will also be given in honor of the Russian Prime Minister and his delegation.
Similarly, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang will also arrive in Pakistan on October 14 with a high-level delegation. The three-day visit of the Chinese Prime Minister to Pakistan will consist of two parts.
In the first part of the visit, the Chinese Prime Minister will have meetings with other top Pakistani political leaders including Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while the Chinese Prime Minister is also expected to meet with the top military leadership of Pakistan.
In the meetings, Pakistan-China relations, new projects of CPEC, security of Chinese people and projects will be discussed among other issues.
The second part of the visit will consist of a multilateral visit from October 15, in which the Chinese Premier will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Heads of Government meeting on October 15 and 16.
Li Qiang will represent China at the SCO Heads of State meeting. During the visit of the Chinese Prime Minister, many agreements are expected to be signed between the two countries.
It should be noted that any Chinese Prime Minister will visit Pakistan after 11 years.
