Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke to Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim over the telephone.
According to the statement, during the warm conversation, the Prim’e Minister conveyed his greetings to the Malaysian Prim’e Minister, government and people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim also conveyed his heartfelt Eid greetings.
Praying for peace and harmony for the Muslim Ummah, the two leaders stressed the need to reduce the ongoing tensions in Iran and the Gulf region and agreed to continue working together to promote peace in this regard.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive progress in bilateral relations and reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Malaysia.
