ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is making a surprise visit to Karachi today on a holiday.
During the one-day visit, the Prime Minister will be briefed on Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Port Qasim Authority (PQA) and Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC).
The Prime Minister is also expected to meet a delegation of businessmen from the export and import sector in Karachi.
Along with this, the Prime Minister will visit Karachi Port and review the operations of the port.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will take a briefing regarding the increase in national income, facilities for the business community and reforms in the export and import sector and important decisions will also be taken in this regard.
