Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in a plane crash in South Korea.
In a statement released on the social networking website X, Shahbaz Sharif said that he was deeply saddened to learn about the tragic accident at Moan International Airport in South Korea.
He added that many precious lives were lost in the accident.
The Prime Minister also wrote that we are with the Korean people and the government of the Republic of Korea in this hour of grief.
It may be recalled that a passenger plane crashed while landing at Moan Airport in South Korea, resulting in the deaths of 120 people and injuries to several others.
According to reports, the plane crashed due to a malfunction in the landing gear. The plane skidded off the runway and hit a fence on the sides, which caught fire.
