Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta tarar has said that the Practice and Procedure Ordinance is necessary to make the judicial system more transparent.
While giving a press conference in Islamabad, he said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had a meeting with China’s Rohi Group today. Investing billions of dollars, Rohi Group will establish textile parks in Pakistan in Sindh and Punjab, which will provide employment to 3 to 5 lakh people.

He said, “I would like to draw attention to the Practice and Procedure Act, which has been deemed fit to be amended, and the President of Pakistan has signed it, under section 184(3) of the Ordinance which The cases will come, they have to explain in writing why this is a case of public importance. Another right given therein is the right of appeal against the order passed by the Supreme Court under Section 184(3).
He said that whatever the judge says during each case, a transcript will be prepared and that transcript will be made available to the public, this will bring transparency in the processing of cases and people will be able to see if the remarks have been passed. It is necessary to make the judicial system more transparent, now the case that comes first will be scheduled for hearing first, the case that comes first in time will be scheduled first and it will not be possible to hear any case in queue. According to Atta Tarar, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court under the Practice and Procedure Act, in which it was said that the most senior judges will be present with the Chief Justice.
