Srinagar: The death anniversary of the young martyr Burhan Muzaffar Wani, who bravely fought the brutality of the Indian occupation army in Occupied Kashmir, will be celebrated tomorrow.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Burhan Wani has become a metaphor for freedom struggle in the occupied valley. Burhan Wani, very popular among the youth, was martyred by the Indian Army along with 2 colleagues in a fake encounter in 2016.
The martyrdom of Burhan Wani breathed new life into the freedom movement in Occupied Kashmir.
On the occasion of his fifth death anniversary, posters with tributes and devotional messages have been put up across the valley.
All Hurriyat parties have also announced to celebrate Burhan Wani’s death anniversary in a grand manner. Meetings and rallies will be organized including Quran recitation.
