Lahore: People’s Party Central Punjab General Secretary Hasan Murtaza has said that the decision to ban political parties is not correct in any way.
Regarding the ban on PTI and imposition of article six on the leaders of the People’s Party, he said that the decision to ban political parties is not correct in any way, political differences do not mean that a party should be abolished. Democratic behavior should be adopted.
He said that Article 6 was supposed to apply to former General Musharraf and General Zia-ul-Haq, which was not applied, leaders and workers of political parties do not fall under the category of Article 6.
Hassan Murtaza, General Secretary of People’s Party Central Punjab, further said that no political party can be eliminated by imposing restrictions, dialogue is not the only solution to the country’s problems.
