Lahore: The court has called for the police records on the bail applications of PTI founder chairman in 8 cases.
In the Anti-Terrorism Court, PTI founder chairman Imran Khan’s bail application in 8 cases of May 9 incidents was heard, in which Imran Khan’s team of junior lawyers appeared and pleaded with the court that Barrister Salman Safdar is busy, so Time should be given for arguments.
In the hearing before the Anti-Terrorism Court Administrator Judge Khalid Arshad, in the petitions filed through the lawyer of PTI founder Salman Safdar, it was held that Imran Khan is on judicial remand in all the cases. There will be no recovery of any kind from founder PTI. Police cases are malicious, retaliatory, so the court should grant bail pleas.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing till August 8, asking the police to agree to all the cases on the next hearing.
It should be noted that PTI founder Imran Khan has filed bail applications in Jinnah House attack case, Askari Tower Jalao Jalao Gherao and Shadman Jalao Gherao among other cases.
