Awam Pakistan Party’s Canon and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that he could not continue with PML-N, economic stability cannot come without political stability.
While giving an interview to a private TV channel, he said that some people were of the opinion that the new political party should be named Muslim League and ABC should be added. But I disagreed with it because there are many parties that could not do anything.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the current political parties have compromised on principles for power. The PML-N shifted from the narrative of honoring the vote to seeking power at any cost, so I could no longer go with them.
He said that everyone in the country has to follow the constitution, the prime minister cannot be subordinate to the army chief. Politicians have to come together to solve the country’s problems, economic stability cannot come without political stability.
The former prime minister said that extraordinary measures need to be taken in extraordinary circumstances, while the importance of money in politics must be eliminated. We have the solution to all the problems of Pakistan.
Leader of Awam Pakistan Party said that Miftah Ismail is part of our political party while Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar will soon join our caravan. Fawad will also invite Hasan Fawad to join the party.
