Lahore: Pakistani actress Ushna Shah has revealed that she is suffering from a mental illness in which she is losing the ability to recognize faces.
In a story shared on Instagram, Ushna revealed that she suffers from a condition called ‘prosopagnosia’, also known as face blindness.
Ushna Shah wrote that the disease has become a bitter reality for her and she often finds it difficult to recognize people’s faces, which used to be a joke for her.
She added that she is saving this message in the highlights of her Instagram account so that people can understand her condition and not get confused.
The actress emphasized the need to promote awareness of prosopagnosia in the society, saying that the disease is affecting a lot of people, and she believes that she is not the only one suffering from it.
