Islamabad: The Prime Minister has invited Bahraini investors to invest in Pakistan.
An 11-member parliamentary delegation led by Bahraini Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Masalem called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Prime Minister expressed his best wishes for His Excellency the King of Bahrain, His Excellency Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Prime Minister said that the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain are very strong and based on common faith, history and culture. Exchanges of parliamentary delegations are very important to further strengthen people-to-people contacts. Such steps will further strengthen the relations between the two brotherly countries.
The Prime Minister invited Bahraini investors to invest in Pakistan and said that Pakistanis in Bahrain are rendering very important services in various fields.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to further increase the existing trade volume between Pakistan and Bahrain and said that Pakistan, Bahrain and the entire Muslim Ummah should intensify their efforts to assist their brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine. The meeting was also attended by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and senior government officials.
