KARACHI: Honor for PIA, Pakistan’s first National Tourism Award.
According to PIA spokesperson, the award was given to PIA Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat, CEO of National Airlines (PIA) in a ceremony organized on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
The award was given for the role of PIA in promoting domestic tourism, PIA is the only domestic air service that connects the dimensions of the country domestically and internationally.
A campaign to introduce the most beautiful northern regions of Pakistan to the world was also run by PIA, receiving the award is an honor for PIA and a recognition of our national character.
PIA will continue to fulfill its role as a national airline and will continue to play its role in the promotion of domestic tourism.
