The Supreme Court heard the case regarding cancellation of bail of the accused of May 9 and 10.
A 3-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi heard the bail cancellation petitions of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Alia Hamza, Shehryar Afridi and others.
Prosecutor Jazal Punjab appeared in the court. The Punjab government sought time from the court to submit the report. The Prosecutor General Punjab requested that some time is required for the reports. The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of the case for 2 weeks.
The bail cancellation appeals were filed by the Punjab government.
