Lahore: Former Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi got big relief from Accountability Court Lahore.
The Accountability Court granted permanent exemption to Pervaiz Elahi from attendance in the corruption and kickbacks reference in Gujarat development projects.
The court appointed Anwar Hussain as a pleader to appear in place of Pervaiz Elahi. The court exempted Pervaiz Elahi from attendance on the grounds of illness.
Former Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi’s pleader Anwar Hussain appeared for attendance, while former Principal Muhammad Khan Bhatti did not appear today.
The Accountability Court kept the case pending due to other accused.
