Pakistani delegate Munir Akram has said that a permanent ceasefire in Gaza will bring stability to the region.
Expressing his views on the situation in Gaza and Yemen in the Security Council, the Pakistani delegate said that the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza is necessary.
Munir Akram said that Pakistan has stressed on negotiations and provision of immediate humanitarian aid for Yemen and is concerned about the deteriorating situation in Yemen.
He said that the Yemen conflict is giving rise to a serious humanitarian and political crisis, the parties should ensure the full implementation of the peace agreements.
