Mumbai: Indian actor Samarjit Singh has said that Pakistani dramas, cinema and art are worthy of appreciation, Indian drama industry should also learn from them.
In his recent video, Samarjit Singh praised the Pakistani drama industry and said that I saw a Pakistani drama serial whose story was simple, acting was genuine and the production was fantastic.
The actor said that in our Indian dramas, if a girl is falling down the stairs, she keeps falling for a week while there is a close-up shot of everyone in the scene with loud and explosive music.
He said that Indian producers can complete a 22-minute drama footage by showing anything, they have neither the budget nor the infrastructure.
The Indian actor said that Indian dramas are playing in the same 20-year-old style, the only change is that now witches and snakes have been included in the dramas.
Samarjit Singh said that if India-Pakistan relations are kept aside, Pakistani dramas are really worthy of appreciation if we look at them only from the point of view of art. If you make good content, it will definitely run, be it a drama, a series or a movie.
The Indian actor said that I have auditioned many times for drama serials, every time I am told in the audition to overact because it is a drama.
He further said that we need to change our content and work and there is nothing wrong if we are inspired by Pakistanis for this change.
