. Pakistan is an important partner for Britain. Both countries have strong bilateral trade relations. Last week, British and Pakistani ministers announced new measures to promote trade between the two countries. As part of the trade dialogue, the two ministers announced the establishment of a new UK-Pakistan Business Advisory Council, which will include prominent business leaders and government officials. The council will provide strategic advice on policy reforms, develop an internal platform for mutual consultation and promote trade opportunities.

This initiative supports Pakistan’s economic recovery agenda and will create new trade routes for British companies.
