Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed deep concern over India’s cross-border and extrajudicial killings in Pakistan.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said during her weekly news briefing in Islamabad that this trend is not limited to Pakistan, but India’s network of cross-border killings and kidnappings has spread across the world and other countries are also expressing concern over India’s cross-border activities.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch added that according to reports, India’s agency RAW has been issuing assassination orders in Pakistan since 2021. It has targeted 20 people as a threat to its security.
The Washington Post recently reported that India’s intelligence agency RAW has been carrying out assassination operations in Pakistan since 2021.
According to the Guardian, the Indian government had ordered the killing of 20 people in Pakistan. Pakistan is fully capable of defending its national security and sovereignty from any internal or external threat.
In response to a question, the spokesperson said that the Gwadar port, established with the cooperation of China, is for the development of Pakistan. He categorically stated that Pakistan has no intention of providing a military base to any government or institution of any country.
