Pakistan cricket team failed to meet expectations in Champions Trophy
Former Test captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has said that Pakistan cricket team failed to meet expectations in Champions Trophy. We are optimistic about the national team’s victories in the New Zealand tour.
Talking to the media on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the Ramazan Gold Football Tournament at the Naya Nazimabad Football Ground, Sarfaraz Ahmed said that the Pakistan team worked hard in the Champions Trophy but the results did not come in our favor. All teams play to win.
He said that the Pakistan team for the New Zealand tour consists of young players. We hope that the results will come in our favor in the New Zealand tour. The conditions of New Zealand have always been challenging, it is a good move by the PCB that they are taking a new team to New Zealand.
The former captain said that it is always said that the team did not play well. Even old cricketers, management and coaches know that no team plays to lose, whenever they criticize the players, they should speak with balance. Those who are sitting on TV have gone through these stages. The attitude while playing changes and when you leave cricket, it changes. Winning and losing is part of the game, we should all work together for the betterment of Pakistan cricket.
Sarfaraz Ahmed also said that I tell the Pakistani nation that you have always supported the team, I tell the nation to still stand with the team, I hope that the coming time will be good for Pakistan cricket.
Talking about the two final teams of the Champions Trophy, he said that two of the best teams are facing each other in the final of the Champions Trophy. In the final, India will have the advantage of being in Dubai.
