Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 fighter jets have arrived in Saudi Arabia to participate in multinational air combat exercises, while the aircraft flew directly from their home base to Saudi Arabia and also refueled air-to-air.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR), Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 fighter jets have arrived in Saudi Arabia to participate in multinational air combat exercises. The participation of the Pakistan Air Force contingent in the exercise highlights the PAF’s commitment to regional and international cooperation.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the multinational air combat exercise “Spears of Victory 2025” is being held in Saudi Arabia.
According to the ISPR, a contingent of JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jets of the Pakistan Air Force has reached Saudi Arabia to participate in these exercises, which includes air and ground crews.
According to the statement, the PAF fighter jets flew directly from their home base to Saudi Arabia and carried out air-to-air refueling during this time.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, this is a demonstration of the long-range flight capabilities of the JF-17 aircraft, the pilots of the Pakistan Air Force will participate with the JF-17 Thunder Block III equipped with AESA radar and BVRR missiles.
According to the ISPR, the JF-17 Thunder Block III of the Pakistan Air Force will face other modern fighter jets.
Spears of Victory 202 also includes modern fighter aircraft and combat support elements from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bahrain, Greece, Qatar, UAE, the US and the UK.
According to the ISPR, the Royal Saudi Air Force is hosting Spears of Victory for the fifth time. The exercise provides an excellent opportunity to enhance technological advancements, increasing complexity in airpower application, and enhancing interoperability within the participating air forces in shared air defense challenges.
