Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has said that our preparations are always complete but this time the strategy will be tough, which I cannot tell you about yet.
A hearing was held in the Peshawar High Court on the application filed by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for details of the cases and protective bail. The hearing was conducted by a two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Sahibzada Asadullah.
Petitioner Alam Khan Adenizai Advocate, while giving arguments, said that an application has been filed for details of the cases against the Chief Minister. Additional Attorney General Sanaullah said that I have spoken to the Interior Ministry and I have told them to strictly comply with the court order.
Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim said that we can seek a response from the federation, we can provide protective bail to the extent of Punjab, to which the Additional Attorney General said that we should be given some time and we will submit a report.
Justice Sahibzada Asadullah said in his remarks that he is the Chief Minister of the province and he has other work to do, he cannot come to this court every day.
Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim said that the province needs the attention of the Chief Minister, the people have voted for him, to which the lawyer of the petitioner said that there is a meeting with the IMF today as well, for which the Chief Minister is going to Islamabad.
Later, the court extended the Chief Minister’s protective bail till December 17.
