Karachi: Chairman Senate Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that we will pass the bill only if our numbers are complete.
Talking to the media, Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that there is reform in the bill, we will pass the bill only if our numbers are sufficient. The cases against me are baseless. I am not related to Maulana Fazlur Rehman, I respect him.
Yusuf Raza Gilani said that those who made a case against me, today we are voting for them. The bill being passed is not a specific bill. If the numbers on the bill related to the tenure of the heads of institutions are fulfilled, the bill will be approved.
He said that there are speculations regarding the completion of the numbers. Everyone has to work together, this is the time to think for the country, personal interests should be eliminated. He said that the senate passed a unanimous resolution on the arrest of members of the parliament and it was also condemned.
Yusuf Raza Geelani said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has a very old relationship with him, he also has good relations with him and respects him a lot. They have done a lot of work with us, I will not comment on them.
Chairman Senate further said that no one will take Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur seriously, nor are we in favor of Governor’s rule.
