The international community should ensure that the international principle of the rule of the Palestinian people in Gaza is upheld
While welcoming the Gaza peace plan, China has reiterated its categorical stance that in any case, Palestine should be ruled only by the people there.
According to the international news agency, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told reporters that the international community has also been of the same position that Palestine should be ruled by the Palestinians.
He added that no decision about the future of Gaza should be made against the will of the Palestinian people and contrary to their wishes.
The Chinese Foreign Minister said that he welcomes all efforts to restore peace in the Middle East and save human lives.

He demanded that the international community guarantee the universal principle that the right to rule in Gaza should stay with the people of Gaza.
