The Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court granted bail to 250 accused in 13 cases of November 26 while rejecting the bail of 150 accused. The District and Sessions Court, Islamabad, extended the interim bail of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub in the case registered on the D-Chowk protest until January 9.
The Anti-Terrorism Court, Islamabad, has granted bail to 250 accused in 13 cases registered on the PTI November 26 protest.
The court ordered the release of the accused on bonds of Rs 5,500 each while rejecting the bail applications of 150 accused.
Meanwhile, Additional Sessions Judge Raja Asif heard Omar Ayub’s application. Omar Ayub appeared in the court along with his lawyer Babar Awan. The record could not be presented due to the fact that the investigation officer was on leave. A case has been registered against Omar Ayub in Koral police station.
