Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (N) Central Secretary for Information and Senior Provincial Minister of Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb expressed regret over the statement of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and Opposition Alliance chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai regarding Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement that such a statement against the truth was not expected from a senior and respected politician like Mehmood Khan Achakzai.
She said that Mehmood Khan Achakzai himself is a witness that Shehbaz Sharif refused to disloyalty to Nawaz Sharif every time, history is a witness that Shehbaz Sharif rejected the offer of the Prime Ministership three times but did not disloyalty to his elder brother.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Shahbaz Sharif not only stood firm with his brother in every storm but also always went to jail with him and endured the worst hardships.
She said that the Sharif family’s tradition of respecting relationships and upholding the values of loyalty is an example for the world. Speculations about a rift in the sincere and brotherly relationship between Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have been going on for 40 years, which have always proven to be lies and propaganda.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that in the political landscape, Shahbaz Sharif is the only example who preferred loyalty to the Prime Minister’s chair and has always stood the test of sincerity.
