Chennai: Popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun has revealed that his career was in serious trouble after his debut film and Sukumar took care of him.
Speaking during the release ceremony of the song “Kisak” from Pushpa 2 held in Chennai, the 42-year-old actor said that no one was willing to work with him after his debut film “Gangotri”. He said, “Sukumar trusted me and thus began our long collaboration.”
Allu Arjun paid tribute to Sukumar and said that without him, my career might not have progressed.
Pushpa 2, in which Allu Arjun plays the lead role, will release on December 5 and fans are eagerly waiting for the film. The song “Kisak”, which features Sri Leela, was also presented at the event.
Allu Arjun, who is among India’s highest-paid actors today, has combined his two-decade-long successful career journey with Sukumar.
