Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab has denied that Bilawal Bhutto met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
In a statement, the spokesperson of the Chairman PPP Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that the news of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is completely baseless, such news should be avoided.
It should be noted that earlier news had come out that Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has once again refused to join the federal cabinet.
It was reported from sources in the Presidency that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had met Bilawal Bhutto at the Presidency.
The sources had said that the Deputy Prime Minister informed Bilawal Bhutto of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s message. Apart from Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari apparently refused to join the cabinet and informed him of his reservations.
According to sources, in the meeting, a written agreement for government formation in Punjab was also discussed between Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Deputy Prime Minister.
Sources had claimed that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari complained that he was under pressure from leaders for not being taken into confidence by his party in government decisions and not being consulted.
It may be recalled that in the past few days, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed reservations at various forums about the treatment of the PPP by the PML-N government and complained that the ruling party does not take the PPP into confidence in decision-making.
In light of these complaints, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had directed Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar to meet the PPP Chairman and address his reservations.
