Islamabad: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif saluted the Ghazis and martyrs on National Defense Day.
President Asif Ali Zardari said in his message that Pakistan wants peace and stability in the region. We are all with the security forces to end the menace of terrorism. Institutions are also fully prepared to defeat terrorism.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in his message that September 6 is very important in the history of Pakistan. Defense Day has become a symbol of our defense and independence. The courage and dedication of our forces is the basis of Pakistan’s security.
He said that thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, we are living in a free and independent state. Pakistan can be protected only by keeping the spirit of martyrs in our hearts.
