Nation Will Never Forget the Sacrifices of Its Brave Soldiers: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Islamabad:Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, currently on an official visit to Azerbaijan, issued a powerful statement reaffirming the nation’s unwavering respect for the martyrs of Pakistan’s armed forces. His remarks followed a successful counter-terrorism operation conducted in North Waziristan and Chitral, targeting the Indian-backed terrorist group “Fitna-ul-Kharij.”

In the statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life during the operation. Despite the pain, he honored the courage and sacrifice of the soldiers who laid down their lives to protect their country. The Prime Minister emphasized that the sacrifices of these brave men would never be forgotten by the nation.

Tribute to the Fallen Heroes

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said, “The nation will never forget the sacrifices of its brave soldiers. Their courage and resilience in the face of adversity are a source of pride for all Pakistanis.” He offered prayers for the departed souls, wishing them a high rank in paradise and expressed condolences to the bereaved families, praying that they find the strength to bear the loss.

He also highlighted the commitment and professionalism of the armed forces who successfully neutralized seven terrorists linked to Fitna-ul-Kharij. According to official reports, these terrorists had direct links with foreign handlers and were planning attacks to destabilize the region.

India-Backed Terrorism Condemned

In a strong condemnation of cross-border terrorism, the Prime Minister directly accused Indian-backed elements of sponsoring such acts. “These terrorists are enemies of humanity. Their nefarious designs to destabilize Pakistan and harm its innocent citizens will never succeed,” said Shehbaz Sharif.

He asserted that the terrorists and their handlers would be held accountable and would pay a “very heavy price” for their malicious actions. “We will not allow anyone to challenge the sovereignty of our nation,” he added.

Operation Against Fitna-ul-Kharij

The recent military operation in North Waziristan and Chitral was a critical move in Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism efforts. The group Fitna-ul-Kharij has been a long-standing threat to peace in the region. Intelligence agencies had reported an increase in militant activity in the tribal belt, particularly in areas close to the Afghan border.

The operation was meticulously planned and executed by the Pakistan Army, which successfully eliminated seven hardcore militants. The military also seized significant weaponry, communication devices, and propaganda material during the raid. Security experts view the operation as a strategic victory in the ongoing fight against extremism and insurgency.

Reaffirming the National Resolve Against Terrorism

Reiterating the government’s unwavering stance on national security, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, “The government and the security forces are fully united and committed to eliminating terrorism from our land.”

He urged all political, religious, and community leaders to unite and support national institutions in this decisive battle against terrorism. “This is not just a fight for survival, but a fight to protect our future generations,” he said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces. He also commended the intelligence agencies for their tireless efforts in tracking and dismantling terrorist networks operating within the country.

Call for National Unity and Support for Security Forces

In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called upon every citizen to play their part in maintaining peace and security. “Let us join hands with our security forces and show the world that Pakistan is united against terrorism,” he urged.

He reiterated the importance of national unity and warned against political divisions at a time when the country faces internal and external threats.

International Implications and Regional Stability

The Prime Minister’s statement also carries significant diplomatic weight. By openly calling out Indian involvement, Shahbaz Sharif has brought international attention to what Pakistan sees as cross-border aggression. This may prompt further diplomatic engagements and calls for investigation from global human rights and security organizations.

Furthermore, the developments come at a time when Pakistan is trying to bolster regional peace through trade, diplomacy, and improved bilateral relations with neighboring countries. However, cross-border terrorism remains a critical hurdle to achieving lasting peace in South Asia.

Conclusion: A Nation’s Gratitude

In a time of grief, the Prime Minister’s message serves as a beacon of hope and resilience. As Pakistan continues to fight terrorism on multiple fronts, the sacrifices of its soldiers form the foundation of a peaceful and secure future.

The words of Shahbaz Sharif resonate deeply with a nation that continues to brave challenges with strength, unity, and an unbreakable spirit. The bravery of those who gave their lives in service to their country will forever remain etched in the nation’s collective memory.
