Today is the fifth and decisive day in the Multan Test between Pakistan and England, the Pakistani team is in dire straits.
The match has entered the decisive stage, England declared yesterday by scoring 823 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the first innings, in response to which Pakistan scored 152 runs for the loss of six wickets in the second innings.
With Pakistan needing 115 more runs to end England’s lead in the Multan Test with four wickets to spare, Pakistan’s fifth day of play was opened by Amir Jamal and Salman Ali Agha, who finished yesterday at the close of play. 27 and 41 runs were scored respectively.
With Aamir Jamal currently on 44 and Salman Ali Agha on 61, Pakistan still need 78 runs to end England’s first innings lead.
