Pakistan showbiz industry actress and host Amina Malik discussed the problems faced while looking for a relationship for marriage and social expectations in a podcast.
She said that if girls are given too much freedom and facilities before marriage, they may face difficulties in adjusting to another home after marriage. Amina Malik also said that nowadays girls are getting married late and both boys and girls consider it necessary to talk to each other before marriage for their satisfaction.
The actress further said that in the present era, boys and girls look for complete perfection in their spouses, which is an unrealistic desire. She pointed out that a person cannot get everything in life.
Referring to the unnecessary demands of mothers of boys, Amina Malik said that they want a daughter-in-law to be thin, tall and fair, but no one person can have all these qualities. He raised the question that if a girl becomes fat after marriage, will she be abandoned?
He further said that when the mothers of boys go for relationships with girls who are educated abroad, they ask inappropriate questions, such as, have you had a relationship with any boy during your studies abroad?
